BioSince we were assigned a website project in my Hypermedia class, I thought I'd be efficient and utilize the Livejournal's profile feature as my bio page. And since I'm trying to merge the hobby highway with the assignment avenue, some things will just have to change. And one of those things is the utterly non-professional profile of me whining like a three year old.
My name is Rebecca (although nobody ever calls me that), but I much prefer Becca, and my last name is being withheld due to internet detectives. I attend the University of New Orleans, and I'm a 4th semester student (not quite a sophomore, not quite a junior). I'm majoring in Fine Arts, with a focus on digital media, and I sew and shopkeep in my spare time. I originally began this journal to amuse my friends, but sometimes it moonlights as an arts and crafts journal. I occasionally post pictures of projects and more often than not try to sell people my handiworks through guilt and coercion.
I generally go by the web handle of Nattosoup, as it's somewhat androgynous and I rather like the idea that my work is neither masculine or feminine (with exception of my Etsy shop, which is primarily aimed at creating things women will impulse-buy). I'm interested in creating comics, and I've worked on a few, but I have no results I'm proud enough to display at the time. When I'm not busy with school, I'm busy sleeping and slacking. My main vices include shoes, purses, and pretty things I'll never wear though I am very much a sucker for hand-crafted things.
